**Lordswood Leisure Centre Forced Closure Statement**

Following government’s new directive to keep our nation safe and slow the spread of coronavirus, Lordswood Leisure Centre will sadly be closed.

We must inform customers that we will be closed for the foreseeable future.

We would be grateful if you could share this information with your friends and family to avoid any unnecessary visits to the Centre

We will continue to monitor the situation going forward and provide regular updates via our website and social media channels.

We look forward to welcoming you back into the Leisure Centre soon and wish everyone a safe time ahead.


How do our closures affect you?


*Gym Memberships at Acorns Health and Fitness*

During our closure, all gym memberships will be frozen.

If you pay your membership via direct debit then your usual monthly payment will not be collected on the 1st April 2020, no further monthly payments will be taken until we re-open.

Direct debits payments will restart on the 1st of the month following the month we re-open.

Annual payments and non-contractual memberships will have their memberships extended for the period matching the duration of our closure. For example, If we are closed for 3 months, then your membership will be extended by 3 months with no extra charges.

Pay as you go memberships will restart on the 1st of the month after we re-open. For example, if we re-open on a date that is mid-month then the rest of that month will not be chargeable to you. We kindly ask you to renew on the 1st of the next month or on your next visit to the centre.

*Children's Birthday Parties*

If you have booked and made a payment for a Children’s birthday party then the payment(s) will be returned to you.

A member of our Children’s birthday party team will be in contact to organise this.

*Functions & Events*

If you have an event at Lordswood Leisure Centre during our closure then our team will get in touch with you to discuss postponing your event to a later date where possible.

Our team are currently postponing events 2 months ahead but we will review the situation on a weekly basis.

In the event that we cannot transfer your date we will offer you a refund.

Our function team will be in touch with you if your function or event falls within this period.

Unfortunately both the March and May funtime has been cancelled.

We are offering all customers the option to transfer their funtime bookings to the summer holiday funtime. Any that do not wish to transfer can opt for a refund of any payments made.
